Most of us think of the Kingdom of God as heaven—something to attain after death. But Jesus made it clear: the Kingdom of God is not just coming, it is already here.
“The kingdom of God is within you.” — Luke 17:21
It lives in each of us who believe, not as a far-off dream, but as a present reality. Jesus warns us in Matthew 21:43 that the Kingdom can be taken away from those who do not bear its fruit:
“Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.”
This isn’t about working for salvation. We don’t earn grace through our effort. It’s not about checking religious boxes.
It’s about gratefully receiving God’s gift and letting that gift produce fruit through us—for His glory. Fruit like love, peace, patience, kindness, obedience, humility.
If the Kingdom of God is within us, then we are called to reflect His reign here and now.
Let the world see His Kingdom—through the way we live.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.
